On Saturday November 18, 2006, the Lehighton Recreation Center will be hosting the 6th Annual Winter Craft Show between the hours of 10am-4pm. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Recreation Center Youth Program which begins in October and continues until May. During this time the Recreation Center is open for children (grades 5-8) from 6pm-7:30pm to participate in numerous games and activities. Also between the hours of 7:30-9pm the center is open to high school students (grades 9-12). This year's show consists of a wide variety of unique, high-quality crafts including stained glass, fine painting, needle crafts, and much more. Our kitchen will be open all day, and baked goods from the Lehighton Bakery will also be available for purchase. A craft Chinese auction will be held throughout the day and winners will be drawn at 3:30pm Please visit this site periodically to check for show updates.
